Linearized equations of motion
• The full equations of motion derived in the previous lecture are clearly nonlinear and, therefore, difficult to solve.
• The equations would be much more practical if they were linear.
• So why not linearize them?
• All linearizations are performed around a static stable condition
• Therefore, in this case we will linearize around a steady trimmed condition.
